  3. Update Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office (where applicable) to the first fixed build for your installed channel/edition: 16.0.5569.1003, or (other Office releases) 16.0.10417.20207, 16.0.14334.20906, or 16.0.17932.20976.
  4. If you cannot update immediately, reduce exposure by restricting who can open incoming email attachments and blocking unknown or externally sourced spreadsheet files until patching is complete.
