- Update Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office (where applicable) to the first fixed build for your installed channel/edition: 16.0.5569.1003, or (other Office releases) 16.0.10417.20207, 16.0.14334.20906, or 16.0.17932.20976.
- If you cannot update immediately, reduce exposure by restricting who can open incoming email attachments and blocking unknown or externally sourced spreadsheet files until patching is complete.
