What to do now

  1. Check your ColdFusion version (Admin Console → About, or server startup/build details) and confirm whether you are on 2025.9, 2023.20, or earlier.
  2. If you are affected, install Adobe’s remediation from APSB26-68 (apply the patch/hotfix described in the advisory for ColdFusion).
  3. After patching, re-check the ColdFusion version/build number to confirm the APSB26-68 fix is present.
  4. Review your upload-related settings and any endpoints that accept file uploads, and restrict them as much as your business allows (only required users, correct file types, and tight upload locations).
