  3. If you are on Windows 11, upgrade until you reach one of: 10.0.22631.7582, 10.0.26100.9445, 10.0.26200.9445, or 10.0.28000.2954.
  4. If you are on Windows Server, upgrade until you reach the listed fixed builds for your release: 6.2.9200.26349 (Server 2012), 6.3.9600.23397 (Server 2012 R2), 10.0.14393.9512 (Server 2016), 10.0.17763.9245 (Server 2019), or apply to get to the newest available security update for Server 2022/2025 via Microsoft Update.
  5. After updating, verify the build number again to ensure it matches a fixed version from the list, then re-check any imaging-related apps/workflows that process images from users or the network.
