Steps

Written by AI from the record
  1. Check the Coolify version you are running (look for your current installed version/build).
  2. If you are on a version earlier than 4.0.0-beta.474, plan an upgrade to 4.0.0-beta.474 (or later) as soon as possible.
  3. After upgrading, test that deployment actions refuse resources from other teams (e.g., try changing the URL parameters and confirm the operation is blocked).
  4. Review who has access to Coolify and ensure only the minimum people/roles can access the web UI that performs deployments.

What it is

From the CVE record

Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.474, Coolify's API controllers consistently validate server ownership with Server::whereTeamId($teamId) before any operation. However, multiple Livewire web UI components accept server_id and destination_uuid from URL query parameters without any team ownership validation, allowing cross-team resource deployment. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.0-beta.474.

In plain language

Written by AI from the record

CVE-2026-57498 is a Coolify weakness where logged-in users may be able to deploy apps to other teams’ servers by changing a few browser URL settings; if you run Coolify with multiple teams, you should upgrade because this can lead to other teams’ servers being used without permission.

In Coolify, multiple Livewire web UI components accept unscoped `server_id` and `destination_uuid` from URL query parameters without validating that the target server belongs to the user’s team (CWE-639 / CWE-862), enabling cross-team deployment when the attacker has access to Coolify and can reach the affected UI routes.

If you're affected

  • Cross-team server deployment
  • Unauthorized infrastructure changes
  • Sensitive deployment or config exposure
  • Operational disruption for other teams
